Nexgen Auto Pros Paint Protection Film Expectation Agreement

Paint protection film is a precise and complex installation process. This document is intended to clarify the expectations for your PPF installation and serve as a future reference.

1. Drying Film

• Your new protective film, known as PPF, will require 3-4 weeks to completely dry.

• During the first 5 days, refrain from washing the vehicle.

• If you observe water spots under the film, avoid touching them; they will naturally evaporate.

• Any residual air can be easily removed once the film is fully dried.

2. Warranty

• Our gloss clear bra/PPF comes with a 10-year warranty against yellowing, cracking, and fading.

• Fashion or matte options may carry a 5-year warranty.

• Please note that this warranty does not cover instances of abuse, accidents, or damage from debris. PPF is designed to protect against most rock chips, but exceptionally sharp or fast-moving objects may still affect the film, which is not covered under warranty.

3. Existing Coatings

• The vehicle should not have an existing ceramic coating on the paint, though we will make every effort to remove it if present.

• However, we cannot guarantee that the coating will not lift in certain areas on the edges, as certain coatings can be challenging to remove.

4. Existing Rock Chips

• Be aware that current rock chips will be visible as imperfections if PPF is applied over them.

• We employ various methods to mitigate the visibility of rock chips, but older vehicles are more likely to have existing rock chips that may stand out, particularly on dark or black vehicles.

5. Computer Software/Custom Cutting

• We utilize computer software for most PPF installations, but there may be slight exposed edges in certain areas that are unavoidable.

• We make every effort to ensure a seamless installation, but in some cases, multiple pieces may be seamed together, especially on matte finishes and light-colored vehicles. Seams may be more noticeable on lighter vehicles.

• Dust may accumulate on the seams, which can be carefully cleaned. Ceramic coatings can facilitate easier cleanup.

6. Badge and Trim Removal

• On some installations, badge or trim removal may be necessary to ensure the best experience for you.

• If we need to remove a badge, you will be responsible for the cost of replacing it if it's one-time use by the manufacturer.

• Our goal is to retain all OEM badges and lettering unless you request otherwise.

7. Imperfections

• While we strive for perfection in our installations, the nature of covering an entire vehicle with adhesive film means that you may encounter some dust, contamination, or other debris under the film after installation.

• We take every precaution to achieve a near-perfect installation, but it's important to note that no installation can be entirely flawless. We ensure it meets our own high standards before delivery.

8. Non-Factory Paint

• Nexgen Auto Pros cannot be held liable for non-factory paint, as it may not be properly prepped and could lift. This includes non-factory paint such as dealership touch-ups prior to delivery.

• We will make every effort to identify repainted areas and will obtain your consent before proceeding.

9. Headlights

• In some cases, we have ceased applying clear bra to manufacturer headlights as part of our packages due to the risk of delamination.

• While there may be a higher risk of this issue compared to damage from a rock chip, we can discuss PPF options for your headlights if you prefer.

10. Unsuitable Surfaces for Clear Bra

• Full body PPF installations cover nearly every surface, but there are exceptions, such as textured surfaces, certain non-forward-facing accent pieces, and specific grilles or chrome pieces that are more cost-effective to replace than protect.

11. Lifting

• Some minor lifting that requires trimming may be observed at the two-week mark post-installation. While we make every effort to avoid this situation, it's normal to have to trim certain areas. Please don't hesitate to contact us for trimming.

12. Relief Cuts

• You may notice "relief" cuts in certain areas because PPF may have difficulty bending or stretching over certain sections due to its thickness.

• We aim to adhere to the parameters of our computer patterns, which include seams and relief cuts.

13. Refunds

• At Nexgen Auto Pros, we do not issue refunds. However, in extremely rare cases where a mistake during installation necessitates replacement rather than trimming or repair, we may replace film on entire panels based on industry standards and our discretion.

14. Photo Release

• Unless otherwise discussed, allowing Nexgen Auto Pros to work on your vehicle authorizes us to use photos and videos for YouTube, social media, and advertisements.
